Steps to follow with Pikitup Bin Replacements

Steps to follow if your bin is broken or stolen:

1. Stolen Bins:

Report the theft at your local police station to get a case number or affidavit. The first replacement is free; any further replacements within eight years will incur a fee.

2. Prepare Documentation:

Have your municipal account and case number (for stolen bins) on hand.

3. Contact Details:

 – Pikitup: 087 357 1068
  – City of Johannesburg (CoJ): 0860 56 28 74  
   Follow the prompts to request a bin replacement.

4. Reference Number:

Keep your reference number safe for tracking.

5. Operating Hours: 8 am—4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Note: Broken bins are replaced for free; retain your damaged bin.  

Remember, 240L bins belong to Pikitup and should remain at the property if you move.
